Unfortunately Project Calculator 2.3 does not launch under Mac OS 10.4. Until a fix is available I suggest to reinstall Project Calculator 2.2.1 which can be downloaded from here.

I want to thank all beta testers, translators, pre-order customers and everyone else who gave me so much input, reported bugs and supported me in other ways. Still, this is not the end of the road. Development will continue and new features will come with the next releases. Stay tuned!

The first preview release is available for customers who pre-ordered Project Calculator 2. In addition, the pre-ordering phase has been extended to until the final release is available!

This release includes customer management. Please see the Project Calculator help and the version history on the download page for further details. Please discuss the new features on the forum. The development is strongly based on user feedback!

• Line ending character can now be selected in CSV export.

• Fixed some issues with CSV export (all records now have the same number of fields)
  
• Changes to any time value of an entry were not saved when pressing the accept button while the time control still had the focus
  

Project Calculator is featured on the cover CD of Macworld UK's november issue. Unfortunately they put version 1.7 on it. So please update to the current version if you got Project Calculator from this CD!

Another bugfix release.

Fixes:

Just a small bugfix release. In 1.8, CSV and text export were broken. This is fixed now.

The PayPal button did not work due to a copy/paste error.

The next release will be Project Calculator 2. As announced, Project Calculator will be shareware as of release 2.0. It will then cost $14.90.
As a special offer you can pre order Project Calculator 2 for only $4.90 (you will save $10!). This includes participation in the beta test and free updates for all 2.x versions.

Project Calculator 1.8 was released today. The main features are:

* Additional export types
* Full Undo/Redo support for all actions
* Updated online help with new design
* Italian localization

The feature page was updated with some screenshots.

I just wanted to let you know that I'm currently working on the 1.8 release of Project Calculator. Its main feature will be better export capability. You will be able to export to HTML, PDF, CSV and plain text. Other things on my list: New online help design (simple style, smaller download), printing, full Undo/Redo support, Spotlight integration (still have to check if this is usefull for Project Calculator). Project Calculator 1.8 should be out sometime in October.

Since this project is taking so much time, Project Calculator will become shareware starting with release 2.0. I plan the shareware fee to be $14.90 which I think is fair.

Just a short summary of the planned features for 2.x: Alerts, file attachments, filters, searching, customers, different stlyes for PDF and HTML export with the possibility to create own styles, project deadlines... If you need a feature, post it in the "Feature Requests" section in the forums.
